Back And To The Left isn’t in the top five. Riiiight.

Anyway, I think I have seen four of the bands on the list play live. I have a shiny sixpence for the poster who can guess who they might be. And a bonus point if you can identify the fifth act that I had a ticket for a show by but ended up being far far too hungover to attend!

A Decade Under The Influence and Helena are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too high on that.

Surprised but happy to see Alkaline Trio’s Bleeder on here.

Taking Back Sunday
Cursive
The Hotelier
Hop Along

Too hungover:
Get Up Kids

0/5. Sorry

Love that everything of this nature has to spend three hours beforehand saying ‘we know what real emo music is don’t worry’.

Nanzen kills a cat down at 98? Wtf is this list.

Also the Hated mentioned in another song entry but no entry of their own?

List seems quite skewed towards Midwestern emo.

More thoughts to come as obviously haven’t managed to read it all yet.

I’m sorry this has made you so stressed!

think its ok overall tbh, obviously way too much pop punk and modern ‘emo revival’ bands, none of whom are better than ‘fairly enjoyable’, and not enoigh skramz and emoviolence but thats too be expected

no circle takes the square, thats wrong and bad
