I’d put in a whole lotta stuff that was on Firefly, like Kids Near Water, Otherwise, Sunfactor, The Copperpot Journals, but I’ve got a massive soft spot for all of them. Some of the first bands I saw!

Ah I was meant to read this the other day and forgot, thanks for the reminder. This is a fantastic list, covers the broad spectrum of emo perfectly and there’s a handful of tracks I dont know to discover, but the choices otherwise are pretty spot on
The lyrics on the classics arent bad really. Some of the stuff (most of the stuff) on Silence is shitty but i wouldnt say theyre classics, and the band have openly said how much they regret that as well
