Gregory’s Girl as a sports film is a massive stretch imo. Stick Big Lebowski in there if that’s the bar

want to see Bull Durham (good rep, Susan Sarandon!), Personal Best seemed intriguing from just having finished reading Easy Riders Raging Bulls, and I feel like a failure for never having seen Gregory’s Girl yet

Hoop Dreams is obvs one to get to eventually too but … long

i watched two sports films this weeked - ferrari (great!) and draft day (pretty decent, would be better if it was just about the sports and didn’t have the family drama subplot imo).

moneyball should be on the list imo. and any given sunday. and diego maradona, if we’re including documentaries. in fact, the list stinks, fuck this guy

rewatched Moneyball this month too, great film. Get that they wouldn’t want to have too many from any one sport dominating the list, but would have been well worth a place
