See I liked Cilvia but it’s nowhere near as polished as this one. You could see the potential on some tracks (West Savannah / Heavenly Father are proper jams) but he definitely wasn’t the finished article yet. Guess that’s why he called it a demo…
Definitely see the Curren$y comparison- think he even references him on on of the songs. Someone on Twitter described it as “Like J Cole if J Cole didn’t completely ignore his southern roots”. I fucking hate J Cole but definitely see that line. Rashad’s got that drawl and the Outkast / UGK feel to the beats.
