A few months later I think I agree with you. Seeing that with the others is a bit jarring.

I’ll replace it with “Don’t Go to Anacita” by Protomartyr, “Arabian Heights” by The Afghan Whigs, “Cellophane” by METZ, “The Evil Has Landed” by QOTSA, and “It’s Not Fair” by The Hand.

(I still don’t quite know for sure what a banger is but this is my gut feel.)

Adding two more I forgot:

It doesn’t quite fit my unsubstantiated definition of banger, but just in case it’s one to anyone, I’ll throw in “Old Poisons” by Mogwai. I don’t think it’s been mentioned yet on the forums, which is a surprise since it’s an absolute monster of a song.
