Yes, he did undoubtedly have the stand out male performance of the field but his allegations, and the implied celebration of them, are still a bit troubling. I wonder if Mel Gibson was allowed back in purely to deflect some of the attention…

Yeah like I said I think it’s more notable how few mistakes happen to be honest. Whether or not it’s money well spent is another matter.

Also it’s reassuring that the representation of the Oscars in Naked Gun 33 1/3 is pretty accurate.

Well, it is in the a woman who won an award for her portrayal of a rape victim had to present an award to a man who is accused of not quite rape but certainly sexual assault, which is the point of the post, is a bit of a coincidence, yes but thanks for making me spell it out
