2018/19 Football Kit thread

The jury is out on this one at the moment, betting company replacing nutty snack as a sponsor is a minus as is the logo itself. So far only seen it paired with amber shorts, looks much better with the black one.

Really like the new Bayern one:

Got a penchant for kits that are essentially “flat colour” by design, but with an added texture. Shorts are clearly borrowed from the above YCFC kit though…

Looks like the checkatrade is your best option this year (like anyone gives a shit about that)…

bit of a training kit feel to them but the home and 3rd ones have grown on me.

Leicester are sponsored by King Power who aren’t a betting company

It definitely needs to be stopped, the world will definitely look back on this period in 20/30 years and think ‘what the hell was that about’

Love that 3rd kit, very smart

Oh rly? I just always assumed it was…seems like a good gambling company name.

@shrewbie Not a fan of that home kit, I’m afraid. Bradford have one of the nicest colour schemes in English football…but that’s a poor example IMO (do you usually use black?)

It’s a Thai Duty Free. I’d have probably assumed the same though.

No one posted Spurs yet? Home kit has the Man Utd tummy stripes

Away kit appears to be recycled France’s world cup shirts :grimacing:

Happy enough with the home kit, not so sure about the away… it’s a bit dull. Think it would’ve benefited with a contrasting colour for detailing/badge/sponsor… I dunno RED maybe!!

Both are mid-00s nastiness.

Last year’s were so tidy. Why have they done this :frowning:

Eek, they are not pretty :grimacing:

Shield around the badge is unattractive also.

Think these are actually early versions, think they’ve got rid of the shield.

Only about 1% better. Sigh.

Of all the “major” brands making kits currently (including Adidas, Puma, New Balance, Umbro, Macron etc.) Nike are making the ugliest by far. Ever since they tried to go for a bit more brand originality and messed about with the sleeves they’ve released some hideous strips.

  • Hummel, for nostalgia
  • Bettling company
  • Sponsor logo is LARGE and obnoxious
  • Away kit doesn’t have the light blue hoop
