The weird detuned thing going on in this song really puts me on edge. I mean, I assume it’s supposed to, but I find it genuinely hard to listen to without squirming and feeling like the walls are closing in and that.

Love a bit of discordance, plus I think it makes the synth bit / “I want to know…” refrain even better when it comes in (also brings some expressive 80s style dance montage to mind)
