Is it decent? I loved Price Of Tea & Manger, but Versace Tapes was a bit throwaway. Like, it’s alright but was basically an EP.

Incredible how far and how fast Chance’s stock fell. Plenty of other rappers have put out bad albums and not had their reputation in tatters.

This isn’t very good, but then what Christmas music is. Hope he can come back and prove people wrong.

I really disliked The Big Day but agree - it felt like he was held to a different standard, somehow? I wonder if there was some element of people ‘punishing’ him for being friends with/not condemning Kanye? Like - I’ve seen people lay that kind of thing at his door online, when no one would ever say the same of a Pusha T or Cudi.

I guess it was supposed to be a big crossover debut, though - which adds to it all.

Had a quick skip round yesterday. Clever I suppose, but was a bit like navigating the Wu Mansion on the Wu-Tang Forever CD-Rom. Have pre-ordered the album - nice New Years Day treat!
