they come off easier from canned ones, but the product is worse. What are you soaking the raw chickpeas in for the skins to come off within your lifetime?

My Will’s walking boots are amazing, would like to buy something else from them but most of their styles are not for me. Quality is amazing though, so it’s also a big recommend from me.

Pressure cooker. They go from dry to ready to be shelled in about half an hour

Isn’t putting a bit of baking powder or soda or something in the water meant to help? Might be confusing with something else.

Baking powder and a little bit of tea works well

Could one use chana dal? They’re dried, split and and peeled chickpeas. Maybe a slightly different sort to your hummus variety though?

It became a fun challenge to see how long it took to shell a 400g can of them with the person I was with (12 minutes) and I don’t think we minded the texture. Did remind me a bit of contact lenses for some reason though.

had that subway vegan teriyaki sub for lunch today
it was fine

I bought some vegan asics shoes a few months back and they are literally falling apart :frowning: can anyone recommend some trainers that are vegan, not ugly, not crazily expensive?

Been looking into this recently and the Veja brand kept being recommended.

The Forever Floatride Grow from Reebok was just released and (I think) the first Vegan trainer by a major company.

I’ll check out the reeboks the veja ones are insanely pricey over here, pretty sure they 150 dollars last time I checked.

I’m thinking I go back to vans/plimsoles it’s just the glue that’s not vegan in them, I think.

I have just learned that Kahlua is not vegan. Apparently it’s something to do with how some of the sugar they get is produced :frowning:

Do you have Etnies over there? My partner wears those and has had her current pair for about 3 years now and still looking good. Think they were about Β£40
