Stopped eating meat last summer (had a few slip ups since though) and have gradually been trying to phase out all other animal products. I’ve found it easier than I expected, maybe because I’m not a fussy eater, dunno. Mrs m_b is on board too which really helps. Most of the alternative products I’ve tried are really good and the times I have slipped up and had meat I’ve really not enjoyed it. Not sure I’ll ever be able to become fully vegan but I’m going to try to get as close as possible (if that’s even a thing). Thread bookmarked :ear_of_rice: :corn: :broccoli:

This definitely says more about me than anything else, but since getting more into vegetarian/vegan cooking I’ve developed an irrational loathing of cooks referring to vegetables as β€œveggies”.

100% fine. It’s literally just calling vegetables β€œveggies” in recipes. Makes me feel like I’m being patronised for some reason. Like I said, more about me than anything else!

Does anyone have any good slow cooker recipes that aren’t chilli?

The idea is grim to some people I know, but ideally would like to make something healthy on Sunday and be able to have for the next 5 nights.
