Didn’t realise that and De La Soul is Dead dropped on the same day. Great album.

Really enjoyed this on the first couple of listens.

could not get on board with the autotune at all, made me skip basically every track before they were halfway done

Interesting - I hardly noticed it! For me, I usually just feel a damning tension in Cole’s albums - his constant straining to make a classic (or even his overt protestations that he’s actually made a classic, as with FHD, an album that’s still only 65% of the way there at best), and it felt refreshing to hear him sounding like he was having some low-stakes fun. His last two in particular were total snooze fests for me.

BRASS has finally arrived in the post

LOL. Did not see that coming.

Really into this. For fans of Roc Marciano and the like. $30 but not hard to find a copy if you want to check it out.

This new Mach-Hommy album is really fucking good.

On my second listen now, even the presence of Fahim on a track couldn’t derail it!.

Talking of features, i’m surprised Droog isn’t on this. Mach has been all over his stuff over the past couple of years, thought he may have returned the favour.

Yeah, it’s so good. Woke up really early this morning and couldn’t get back to sleep so stuck it on on my headphones. Love it. Whatever your thoughts are on Westside Gunn, the guy knows how to craft an album.

Although not on streaming yet

Is Alc just trolling the whole Internet here, or is he telling the truth!

This is really good.

It’s really, really good! Have always liked Mach Hommy but this seems like a much more coherent project than the previous tapes I’ve listed too. Might even be challenging Haram for AOTY so far… :eyes:

Marie and Kriminel the stand-outs for me so far. Keep running them back as soon as they finish

Better than Songs of Sage?
