New Conway and Big Ghost Ltd. is pretty good. No real surprises, they stay in their lane, but do it well, some real chemistry developing between them. Better than No One Mourns The Wicked for me.

Looking forward to the usual battle for the vinyl tomorrow.

Who’s putting it out? Daupe? I’m glad I don’t really buy physical music anymore as I would be all over these releases.

I’m a sucker for this type of thing…

It’s being done by de Rap Winkel, they tend to release most of Big Ghost’s stuff on vinyl.

Listening to this now - I’m into it.

Conway and Benny are funny ones for me. Strikes me that they’re not totally comfortable with the lane they’re in, unlike Westside Gunn who - although he’s probably the weakest of the three as an MC - makes by far the strongest and most cohesive albums. Conway and Big Ghost are a great pairing, but have a nagging feeling that he’d sooner go the Benny route and do a whole album with Hit Boy.

The Outkast and MC Shan ones in particular were great. Think it actually starts off on a relatively bum note with the Kanye one (not bad but felt a bit run of the mill to me) and gets better.

Oh yeah, I watched the Run DMC and MC Shan one. Very good.

The Jim Jones and Harry Fraud album is pretty good. Thought his feature on Curren$y and Fraud’s LP last year was a standout, and this is some of the best stuff I’ve heard from Jim J. Curren$y returns the favour on the also excellent Say A Prayer.
