Guess who is being sent home from school after half an hour :upside_down_face:

If they exclude him again in going to fucking lose it

Think I had that in Spain once.

Oh hey guess what? Because I’m such a disorganised heap of a human with a head full of flies and cotton, I misread the booking confirmation and my MOT was at 8.30 this morning. So now it’s at 4.00 tomorrow. Why can’t I just organise simple things ffs

Oh mate, crossing my fingers for you

Oh, FFS. Surely there’s someone on the staff designated to look after SEN children - surely they can see that providing the care that he needs is the right solution here rather than being absolute dicks because the right formal assessments haven’t been made yet?

NEW MONTH NEW ME HUNS xoxoxox

Might ride a bike. Might knock the bopoze on the head. Big Shoppe™ today.

Need a new keyboard after disagreeing with mine on Saturday evening, and the silly little Apple keyboard isn’t good enough for being a level 43 orc fighter all the important work I do.

As far as I understand it, you go into your account on desktop or mobile and do it through Viewing Restrictions.

I have a profile set up for The Child and now The Child can’t watch Kicko Speedo. I can watch it all day if I want.

He is getting SEN help, supposedly, but… I know he is challenging, but there are three staff for his class of 10 at the moment, a SENCO could come and help as well. If they listened to all the things I’ve been trying to say in meetings I bet they could help him calm down without it being of any detriment to the other children in the class. It really hurts because I know he only acts or if he is anxious, overwhelmed, or scared - but they don’t treat it like that and I hate that they won’t show him the care he needs.

So glad it’s February! January was so so long. Things I’m looking forward to this month:

• went on my first date with Mrs Chegg 5 years ago today so gonna make a good nice dinner
• pancake day
• some nice band things happening (no gigs or rehearsals or anything obviously imagine hahaha)
• my job (I’m on contract) is being advertised for a perm role this month so gonna apply for that :crossed_fingers:
• it’s my birthday at the end of the month

Lol we were approached by a Very Reputable Journal asking us to write an entry-level paper on statistics for less well-versed people as a starting point (so entirely their specification). Got the feedback from the reviewers this morning that it was too simple and obvious - but that’s what they asked for!! Ridiculous

Glad I’m not in that world anymore tbqh. There’s one guy who spent a shit ton of time on it that’s properly deflated, feel awful for him

Crashing headache which is making me panic, even though it’s most likely a caffeine withdrawal I’m terrified I’m about to have a stroke :upside_down_face:

Got 3 important zoom calls today as well.

Going to see the nurse tomorrow at 12 so another day of worry ahead.

IMO you can never be too basic about statistics. Like spell every single bit out to me please then repeat it a few times.

Due to receive a pay deal for the next 3 years today.

I did the artwork for this ages and ages ago, but it’s had to be kept under wraps. My illustration will be the ITV logo ident this month, in a series of films with my old housemate creating cyanotypes themed around the European Space Programme.

I’ve just spent a good few minutes on my knees (steady) on the pavement outside of our house trying to switch our water mains supply off.

The bad news is that there’s a water leak in our back yard. The good news is that it’s not coming into the house, and it’s unlikely to be our water supply, so the neighbours are legally responsible for mending it.

I wouldn’t normally be pleased about this but we had a right stress a few years back trying to arrange for a water leak to be fixed on someone else’s driveway - at the time, the supply pipe was shared between ourselves and two other neighbours. One of the properties is tenanted, and the landlady said some really unpleasant racist stuff about our neighbours, and made our lives really difficult when we were trying to resolve the issue. As a result of all of this (and as part of some other work we were having done on the house), we had our water supply rerouted so we didn’t have to deal with our neighbours being racist and shit.

Enjoy your extra 50p!
