Having dated Nabihah at uni it always makes me laugh at the plethora of opportunities she has had in the music industry - director of Brighton Festival 2023? Sure, why not? Decent DJ and producer but a really mediocre musician, yet she’s on Ninja Tunes and tours the world.
Oh to know the right people and have a career subsidised by a rich father.
Not jealous but annoyed on behalf of better musicians who will never get the opportunities afforded to people that have far more financial backing.
Having dated Rihanna at Cardiff UWIC it surprises me just how far she’s come, given she’s a shit singer and can’t play a harpsichord. Oh how it makes me chuckle!
