Looks like there’s a second Empty Country (ex-Cymbals Eat Guitars frontman Joseph D’Agostino) album in the works.
I, for one, cannot wait.

They have been sharing demos on their patreon for a few months now - if they are anything like the finished product, the album will be just excellent. Even in demo form, the scale is huge, multiple songs pushing 10 minutes etc.
Such a great band.

Way more dance-y than his last two records. Intrigued to see where this goes.

For My Mama was one of my favourites of 2021…and probably the release I’ve returned to most. Incredibly lush, orchestral songs with Billy Woods/Open Mike type laid back rapping. This record is <30 minutes, and usually I see this as a positive in hip hop releases, but was kind of hoping for another record to get lost in 
still mad hyped.
