Get many in this year?

Five for me - return to Faro in February and then London - Santorini - Athens - London end October/start November.

Many planned for next year? Currently just Nuremberg return next week and then Kefalonia in October.

there’s a guy from work on fb who posted that news story about how much co2 taylor swift’s relationship generated this year or whatever, and he’s literally dating someone who lives in vienna, so like every couple of weeks he’s flying there or she’s flying to manchester. baffling

Anyone do any long haul this year? Not been on a long haul flight since 2019 (Hong Kong) and can’t see myself doing one in the near future :thinking:

Friend of mine flew back from Papua New Guinea to Gatwick just before Christmas and caught Covid on the way.

Just calculated it was 14 :grimacing: pretty shocking and embarrassing tbh

One return trip was for a friend’s wedding in Athens that we made into our main holiday, one was for a friend’s party that I couldn’t miss (might sound frivolous but it was really important to her), the rest were for work. Not proud of it.

I should only be going abroad for work three times next year and my aim is to do one of the Switzerland trips by train over two days. It’s like three or four times the price to do it that way but I feel a bit sick thinking of my impact on the environment, especially as next year is my big dream Japan trip.

11 - far too many. mostly between london and santiago/a coruña but also to napoli, barca, and mallorca.

twice, to Japan and back. Aiming to do a year without flying in 2024, will do some trips to the continent by train.
