Ughh yeah scrobbling is fuckd on Qobuz, super not cool. And my trial expires in 4 days.
@almal100 what scrobbler you use for Qoboz? and is it on apple or windows/android?
struggling to find an apple solution, just after settling into using Q as my main streamer …
I use panoscrobbler, which is on android, I’ve never had an iPhone but don’t think it’s available there
Maybe something like https://openscrobbler.com/ as a temporary work around, til they (hopefully) fix it?
All you need to do is set up scrobbling in the “external services” page of your Qobuz account on the Qobuz website (https://www.qobuz.com/profile/externals) & then it’ll scrobble on any device you listen on!
(although maybe this is the thing people are complaining is broken? I don’t know, I don’t scrobble)
yeah that was functioning but seemed to disappear overnight
woah
I know, I used to scrobble, used it from January 2007 until 2018, but the Spotify app kept logging me out from last.fm so I just gave up eventually!
That is what’s broken
Qobuz have just started a thing called release watch. It’s a Release Radar but seems to be daily. So that’s good.
There’s an annoying thing where YTmusic isn’t making it into songlink/lynkify the last few weeks. Don’t know why they haven’t figured it out yet.
QB scrobbling seems to be back baby awooo
Canceled my Qobuz after the 3-month trial, didn’t sway me enough.
Which service are you using instead?
Spotted on r/indieheads, haven’t tried it
Apparently they have no mobile apps as yet but this is of note
- As per its press release, Coda Music is the first and only full-catalog streaming service that allows fans to send $1 of their monthly subscription directly to an independent or qualifying artist of their choice.
Falling back on Spotify until I start another trial somewhere.
Any deal breakers? Or just not enough plus points
Dealbreakers are mostly related to playlist management and limits on track per playlist.
