Yeah it’s titchy. Big fella should be ashamed.
Feel a bit sorry for people who take films too seriously (no offence)
I mean you’ve got to take something too seriously ![]()
Thanks
Just finished watching 28 Years Later (2025) and I loved it. Not perfect but the themes, imagery and music all did their part for me, moving is an emotion I didn’t expect - but that is there a lot. The kid playing the main lead was great, understated and well played. The story propelled it forward so not sure how well it would stand up to repeated watches (now the story is told), but yeah Great Movie.
Was starting to doubt myself, but delighted my opinion that “28 Years Later: The Bone Temple is one of the best films of the decade” has been confirmed by Aggers and Tekkers hating it
Between this and raincoat’s pity for having an interest, this has been quite the morning of slams to wake up to!
You think you’ve had it bad? I’ve been lumped in with TKC!
Sounds like you need to…send help
Another one where we’re both unfortunately correct in our opinions
Bone Temple is probs my fav of the series
Was gonna say this - the routes all the characters take to get to where they’re going in London are wild. IIRC they cross the Thames about 4 times walking from Canary Wharf to North London in 28 Weeks and in 28 days Jim heads north from Westminster only to end up south of the Rotherhithe tunnel or something.
^me before I had gps on a smartphone…
Finally entered the bone zone.
Loved it. Not much to add that hasn’t already been said better than I could.
Still a little bit eeeeeehhh about the Saville stuff though.
Currently watching 28 Days for the first time in I don’t know how long and I had genuinely forgotten how fucking bad it looks, goddamn potato DV camera.
Am particularly enjoying Brendan’s Ricky Gervais impression though.

the quality does improve as it goes on, very strange directorial choice but kind of makes sense as a metaphor for how yer man cillian murphy wakes up with no clue what’s going on, and the picture is all fuzzy and shitty, and as it becomes clearer to him the state of the world, the picture becomes clearer. it’s a bit silly and film school imo but that’s danny boyle for you!
Threw it up on the projector screen the other week. Then I threw up in the bin! Disgusting looking film redeemed by being awesome.
Very @BartlbyScribb style rhythm to this comment
