Find JGL very smug. Soz.

Never been in a relationship long enough to find out THUS I WIN (probably…)

Is anyone doing that?

Maybe I should’ve worded it differently but yes.

Almost went to see this with the person i live with on our first date, then we both admitted we thought it looked shite, so we went and got drunk instead.

never watched it but I think the fact that JGL/ZD had to explain again and again that his character was the shit one is a damning indictment of how they screwed up the overall message.

it did give us the expectation/reality meme so that’s good

could never watch a romantic comedy, it’s just not realistic

That’s Lyla??? Fuuuuuu

Less realistic than any other type of film?

Disagree, idiots manage to take the wrong message from things no matter how clearly the author portrayer their intent. Not saying they did it perfectly here, but when people can even come away from Breaking Bad thinking that slightly whiny Skylar is evil and drug dealing child murdering Walt is the hero, then I lose all faith in the audience

Than sci fi? Alt history films showing things that literally didn’t happen? Slashers? Hmm

sci fi is pretty realistic you can conceive of the technology, alt history stuff equally as you only need to change a couple of variables, slashers yeah I think there are some bad people out there

Woah, Walt didn’t kill any kids, he just poisoned one so maybe he wasn’t such a bad guy after all eh?

It does a good job of charting my bi-ness over the years as I really fancied Zooey but now I’d kill for JGL.

But why not believe there’s some kooky romantic type stuff out there too

fair!

Definitely have, hence why I like it since I think it accurately portrays some aspect of straight male/female interactions that not many other films have covered
