I think I thought it was ok once, but ridiculously over played

This is more like it

On one hand - yes, I fully agree with this! Schadenfreude can be a wonderful thing.

On the other, I worry what kind of effect that would have on Lammo.
He was born specifically for this day.
He’ll have been up at 5 this morning running round the house, bless him.

Any predictions of his opening song today?

I’ll go with Blur Song 2.

LIVE FOREVER - OASIS

PJ Harvey, Slint then Julie Cruze doing Twin Peaks theme. OK, MAH, I’ll tolerate you just this once.

Same, Nemone played Together Again by Janet Jackson this morning and it sounded brilliant, when that came out I’d have definitely had the Britpop blinkers on and thought Space or Kula Shaker were more worthwhile.

As soon as I saw it was 90’s day I immediately thought Lammo will open his show with Connection so I’ll stick with that.

I’ve not listened to him regularly since the late 90’s Evening sessions so it could just sound exactly like where I left him, an opening trio of Llama Farmers, Bellatrix and the Younger Younger 28’s

Keaveny opening with Jack Names The Planets there, got time for that.

Can someone remind me what mind-boggling young age Wheeler was when he wrote that? Like 15 or something?

There’s some great drum and bass but it’s a very easy genre to get big with by making dull, generic versions of

Oh God yes! When Craig Charles is significantly better than the usual host, it is a bad sign.

SL has the music taste of a 16 year old with a supremely pedestrian record collection. It is embarrassing.

Dear God, Menswear were so, so fucking terrible. Hilariously so.

90s day has been pretty great though so far.

I guess they get mentioned / played a lot as Matt Everitt was the drummer wasn’t he?

Mebbes aye, mebbes naw

It’s my karaoke song of choice. Can recommend it.

Well I think ā€œa lotā€ is pushing it - this is the first time I can remember hearing them get played, outside the intros SK does for Matt Everitt. But yes he was the drummer.

I quite enjoyed the song today because it was so bad. But quite happy not to repeat the experience any time soon.
