Get your daughter to wear leg warmers and plastic jewellery in bright colours.
If you have a local sweet shop, buy 2oz of sherbet pips.
Do the conga, birdy song and Agadoo dances.
Have a game of marbles.
*I was a child in the 80s (age 7-17) and did all these things.
Flick through an old Argos or Littlewoods catalogue & pick out some toys and a bike and a hifi or something and make a Christmas list
