Anything over 10,000 souls I feel like damn, should have traded that.

At times it makes you mad, at times it makes you feel totally ALIVE.

You just know instinctively when you are on a farming or learning run - OR - A RIGHT LET’S FUCKING DO THIS RUN.

Keep on keeping on.

Ah, don’t say, it’s all too good.

How can 3% completion feel this good.

Blood Starved Beast is one of my favourite bosses in any Souls game. I really struggled but when i finally got good enough (which was based on learning it’s patterns rather than over levelling) killing them was glorious.

Also no map, games with maps in the corner and/or in a menu have me looking at that half the time which i really dont enjoy. I would allow a general “world map” just to show where you are in relation to another part of the game maybe but that would be it.

as frustrating as Hollow Knight can be with it’s mazes I think the map system was well implemented

That’s the one exception I can think of that is fine, maybe because it’s a 2D platformer? Still need to finish that game!

Sekiro never existed

Just dropping in to remind you all that Sekiro was really good and fun.

Cheers!

I know Aphex’s terrible reasons for not liking it but don’t know why other people don’t? It’s still pretty much the same thing, but with a much brighter colour palette, a shit load of cool Eastern mythology and a vastly improved & more fun combat system (okay that last one’s subjective but also definitely true).

Blood Starved Beast is not that hard.

That said, I can’t get past it yet but have dealt it A LOT of damage before falling myself.

You’re a prick for doing this. Now I’m going to have to post my own version after some serious thinking.

no Demon’s?

Not played it. Obvs would love a remaster.

Confused by ‘world’ - does it relate to the way the level design intertwines, or the setting, or the lore?

Surely when you’re playing a game you don’t think like this

Holistic sense, I suppose. Sense of place plus level design.
