For all the horses to have a nice time

they had a wobbly 10 mins and then they got composed and were jabbing away at a very well organised Monaco side, came out and grabbed a goal after the break. Have had most of the play in the 2nd half but have just overstretched themselves chasing goals and lost their shape & got hit on the counter

they’ve been outplayed really but letting in 3 at home gave Monaco a BIG tactical advantage for this leg

that’s an incredibly generous assessment of Dortmund’s night

The way yer man says “Germain” sounds like “yer man”

I noticed that, hope he had a good winter

I know it’s obvious but they really didn’t play that badly tonight, they got Leicestered

Was hoping he was gonna replace a guy named “yerboy” but Monaco don’t seem to have farmed that bants fountain yet. “Mandy” will have to do

Nah, came into a game where they should’ve just looked to keep it tight at the start, played ridiculously openly, would’ve been spanked if they hadn’t made a sub after 20-odd minutes, and Monaco still made more chances than them from then on

Nah they were pretty sloppy on the ball and defended like shit, Monaco were there for the taking but couldn’t deal with their very fast strike force. Disappointing performance but with at least an arguably fair enough reason (though I’m not sure they would have won anyway)

& @Aggpass

yeah maybe, I don’t really watch Dortmund often so I wasn’t really expecting anything in particular

thought in general it was a good battle and right up until 10 mins from time could have gone either way

whatever

We need a Madrid semi, otherwise…meh.

You’re not wrong to say the match was still alive until the 3rd goal, Dortmund certainly came back into, but ultimately they weren’t very good overall

Ideal situation would be Juve v Real and Atleti v Monaco, with Juve Monaco as the final.

Mourinho wouldn’t play him though would he? He’s 19

Imagine Mourinho playing Rashford & Mbappé as his front two …or having him as cover for Ashley Young ffs

Can’t see it

Could see him going to Chelsea or Spurs though

Could well be a Chelsea signing.

Costa’s off to China in the summer and we’ll be in the market for two strikers. One to play in every single game whether injured or in form or not and the other to leave festering on the bench until they are completely broken human beings.
