One of those data dickheads on twitter got mad at Alan Shearer for saying that someone “should’ve scored that” about a close-range header. He was like “well actually there’s only a 0.4 probability of someone scoring a header from that position so most chances of that type aren’t scored”. This apparently proves that Shearer was wrong to say he should’ve scored.
Obvious response to that is that the other 60% of players should’ve scored the headers they missed and they probably fucked it up.
