wish crunch and crumble had stuck together for the money ![]()
would love to know what pittance they’re paid in comparison to Gamble’s other (much much less good) projects
It’s fantastic to discover that Rob Beckett has on-the-record discussions with family
off menu is good! long overdue getting crobby on there though
i like Off Menu but it depends on the guest
they will never have Crobby on
might DM him to see what his menu would be (his DMs are always open)
I keep getting that fucking McNally podcast suggested all the fucking time, doesn’t matter how many times I try and get rid it comes back after 3 weeks. From what I’ve seen they are never in the same room so probably that one.
Just confirmed Rob Beckett was the guy I thought he was.
never heard of any of these podcasts, as long as it’s not the Insert Credit folks
Kermode and Mayo
Oh that’s got to be it
Shout
Be surprised if this was the case, given that Mayo quit not just a show but the whole BBC over having to work with someone he didn’t get on with before.
They proper phone the show in now, not listened to it for 2 or 3 years but they seemed completely checked out then
There was an episode where Max said some people on Reddit thought they weren’t getting on but they were both quite surprised about this claim (they only started a paid subscription tier very recently so I cannot imagine they were making very much bunse from it before that)
Would be weird if Acaster and Gamble fell out after all this time but with Acaster having regular meltdowns at his shows recently I wouldn’t be hugely surprised if he said something pass agg for Gamble to take personally
He sounds exactly like Linehan to me so I’ve always had a hard time separating the two
Also just announced a series of live shows, which is not necessarily something you do if you don’t like each other’s company.
Heard Acaster had a horrendous show in Belfast alright. Has that continued through his run?
This Post Paid For By PROF$.
Yeah they’ve got quite a sweet unlikely friendship imo
