A new rolling thread where we talk about something we know nothing about but as if we're actually an expert on the subject. First up: Cars

This is the first of a new series of rolling threads where we talk about something we know nothing about but as if we’re actually an expert on the subject.

The rules of these threads are as follows:

  1. If you know about the thing don’t come in the thread and talk about it
  2. Nobody is allowed to make that joke about “how is this different from any other thread?”
  3. Have fun, respect yourselves and your fellow community members

Anyway, now we can start talking about cars as if we’re experts about them (providing you’re someone who knows nothing about cars)

You’ve got to think about the mileage though haven’t you. I think you’ll get great mileage out of something like a Ford Focus

especially economic if it runs off your old food grease

Is that auto-vapour lock?

Goes without saying doesn’t it

Got to make sure you check your dipstick before a long journey haven’t you

Misread the subject as ‘cats’ so yours and @AQOS’s replies made me question if I knew about cats after all.

This is the kind of post that it’s ok to post in here
