I feel as though thatās more effort than just grabbing a chopping board, with my weak hands cardboard can be such a bother to open out.

About 50/50 for chopping board/plate for me, depending whatās closest to hand
it takes about 5 seconds, and i have a chopping board underneath cos itās strong and stable for cutting on

the idea that youād have the empty pizza box just waiting there on the counter for when its ready really creeps me out for some reason.
pizza is flat, plates are not totally flat, why cut it on something not flat?
(this is null if you use scissors which is of course totally fine behaviour)
