We were really lucky - a couple were leaving just as we arrived. I think a lot of it was just first night busy-ness, and it’ll be quieter for the rest of the week

Where did you go yesterday? Only place I could see a free table at when I had a post-work walk yesterday was Howl (rock bar on Vicar Lane) and I couldn’t bring myself to make that my first pint.

Yeah, I wasn’t hugely fussed by a pint yesterday by the time I’d finished work so couldn’t be bothered to walk over there but had thought the same about that side of town generally. Think the ones just over the river from Granary (Water Lane Boathouse aside) are probably decent shouts too.
