Flippity flam that’s one helluva long jaaaaaaaaaaaaam. Bit like Anthemic Aggressor off Smote but with words and more groove. S’alright, I’m 13mins in…
£30 vinyl will see me hold off buying it straight away, plus I want to hear much a few more songs before getting a solid copy. I always buy black vinyl anyways so can sit back and avoid the colour vinyl jerk off scrum when it hits.

5 minutes in currently, enjoying it so far (more than Anthemic Aggressor - actually reminds me a bit of a slowed down C) and feels like it should go on for a while but another 15 minutes seems like a lot

I got a bit fed up after that 13min mark. Seems like an extension of Clearly Invisible and some Smote stuff but the squall is tiring and lacks a spark for me. Another few listens and I may dig it more. Intrigued to hear some more from the album though as they are my favourite band and I hate being negative about them.

i’m enjoying it but i was forced due to work to listen to it in chunks - i’m not sure how often i’ll manage to get through it all in one go (i often skip Anthemic Aggressor when i’m listening to Smote Reverser and go back to it at the end instead). i never really got into those long between-albums tracks like Clearly Invisible or Dead Medic much.

the new song i saw them do live last month was short, sharp and loud so there should be plenty of immediate thrills on the album anyway.

14 songs with a 21 minute one at the end though, christ! i would quite like to see them knock out another 30 minute record of bangers like Mutilator at some stage

Just watching/listening now, sounds like a more bulky rocked up Damaged Bug, especially on those “hey” bits. Need a few more listens to click it in my head.

Face Stabber has leaked. Sounds bonkers, funky and groovy as hell in places, over egged prog here and there which makes me cringe a bit, sprawling, couple of thrashers, couple of very excellent songs. Will take a few listens to open up it’s freaky delights though. One thing I’m getting a bit bored of is Dwyers glitchy constipated sounding guitar thing he does (assume it’s the guitar), especially on the longer jams, know the sound I mean? Sounds all tight and well, constipated and glitchy really. It was all over Clearly Invisible and the big jam off Smote Reverser. Then some bubbly sounds and shit. Man, it’s hard to explain.
The album opens up with 40 seconds of a squeaky toy squeaking away. An unusual move. Anyways, another listen is in order. The Daily Heavy is freaky cool…
