Have started having my breakfast at work, since I usually wake up ravenous, it helps get me in at a good time. So I’m just a cereal/granola/muesli atm. On the rare occasion I break my fast at home, it’s two fried eggs (the best of all eggs) on two slices of toast. If it’s a weekend, there will be some sort of black pudding/chorizo/homemade hash brown/bacon involved too.

People who slag off quiches are real geezer men. Are you a geezer man?

See, I used to be like you but then I suddenly for no reason started really liking mushrooms, and those are some of the best I’ve had

I always eat my food in the order of component I like the least to the component I like the most so that I finish with the most enjoyable option.

Mushrooms are my ONLY exception to this rule, for some reason I can’t resist eating mushrooms first despite them being somewhere in the middle of my enjoyment scale on whatever plate they appear.

imagine not liking mushrooms. you poor souls.

I just go for eggs, ham, spring onion, rocket and goats cheese.

Triffic stuff.

Fuckin’ right I’m a geezer man

I want to make overnight oats and take them into work. I sometimes do, but it’s only 90p for two sausages in a brown cob with brown sauce from the work canteen and I’m not made of stone.

Then you are more than welcome to continue slagging off quiches.

Hey Balonz I had a quiche Lorraine last week and it was fantastic I think maybe the first quiche I have actively enjoyed. Do you think this is because

  • Age
  • It was just a nice quiche

I’m pleased for you. I wish i liked them, they look, well I wouldn’t say great, but i find them fascinating, but I just can’t find appealing about them whenever i eat them.

I’d eat three of them.

I had a wicked Frittata on holiday. We were staying at a bnb and the man made such wicked breakfasts every day!
There was always 3 homemade muffins (different flavour every day…one day blueberry, one day blackberry, one day an orangey one). Then we’d have some kind of fruit thing (like a melon sundae or a yoghurt compote thing) and then something cooked. He did a veg frittata one day and it was INSANE how good it was.
Bf doesnt like eggs so he had blueberry pancakes one day and then some waffles another day but boy oh boy every day it was fucking briliant

Oh wow

If you buy some shitty quiche with rock hard egg, flat, bollocks then it is shit. But a proper quiche, well that is the shit.
