Lot smaller than Lisbon with less to see, but would definetly recommend it, love the place. Personally I’d struggle with much more than a long weekend there in a single visit though
I much preferred Porto. Lisbon is packed all the time now, Porto feels more chilled. Cheaper, too.
It’s mostly cheaper, although I had six nights in a very reasonably priced apartment… then one night in The Yeatman. As you do. Can recommend if you’ve saved up.
We’re thinking of having a nice, relaxing long weekend in Porto next year, and we were wondering which months are the best months to go in terms of good weather, cheaper accommodation and fewer crowds?
We stayed for a week across the end of April/start of May in Spot Family Apartments. Cost about £50 per night and had everything you could need. Great weather and I’m guessing less busy than if you went at the height of summer.
