It’s arrived but I haven’t done much apart from marvel at how great it sounds to run a slow arpeggio from it through a cheap tape delay pedal and make warped whooshing noises by cranking the time knob. Once I’ve got bored of that I might check out the manual.

Definitely referring to it as Arturia of the Abyss when I’m making ungodly churning drones with it @Scott_Chegg.

Still in this position though have done a little more research. Also my pillow has pancaked and one of my slippers has a massive hole so I quite need both.

couldn’t be more pleased with these remote controlled rechargeable (surpassingly rare combo) tea lights

tell a lie, they flicker a bit too quickly even on slow mode, but still 90% happy. have 2 sets on my bookcases

i’ve ordered this

went for an air con as it dehumidifies too, not putting up with the mugginess of recent summers. do need to vent the hot air out the window and get some kind of window seal but think it will be worth it

think buying this was a mistake, hard to get the exhaust out of the window, the window sealing thing is a bit of a mess, feng shui killer, and it is so noisy, worry that I may be irking the jovial couple if I use it as it might seem like warm air is noisily being blown down at them as it would be right above their living room window

with hindsight I would have just got a air dehumidifier, they cool the air a bit via dehumidifying it and get rid of the mugginess which is the main thing I can’t handle, much cheaper too

Mulling over getting some proper lifetime wearing boots.

Are red wings worth it? Are there other companies with similar quality for cheaper? Etc.

Assume some of the mens fashion mafia (@Lo-Pan) will be able to advise

I am no authority on boots but red wings do some crackers. and it’s a good shout to just pay and get a good pair of lifetime boots. :+1:
