There’s this semi-unspoken idea that cool is whatever young people like, but a. it wouldn’t be cool for me, a middle-aged woman, to be dressing like a teenager, and b. why am I supposed to want to? I don’t find a lot of teenager trends cool, I think they look silly and in 5 years they’ll agree with me!

As I’ve gotten older, I prefer fewer drinks at a higher quality so tend to have 2 cocktails most weeks. Either out or make at home.
