Without Googling how big is an A1 piece of paper?
I’m guessing ½ metre × 1 metre.
Is the width half the height of any other paper sizes ?
I can’t remember. I did a GCSE in some bullshit topic called Graphical Communications in 1992. Basically drawing stuff on paper of different sizes. I sort of knew my paper dimensions then, but not now.
594x841mm
A3 is twice the size of a4.
A2 is twice the size of a3.
A1 is twice the size of a2 which, by my calculations, means it’s about five times the diameter of the sun.
This shit GCSE taught me I think that if I drew two straight lines within a circle and then drew a line at 90° those two lines would intersect at the centre of the circle or the sun. If that makes sense.
I’m a bit drunk so please don’t quote me.
Sadly, no.
The aspect ratio is 1:√2 according to the internet
A0 let’s go.
Oh… They pythagorased it! (slow to realise thread etc)
