this thread on Filthy Foodstuffs has reminded me of the time I got sent to the headteacher at secondary school for saying ‘do you want a fingerella’ to one of my friends in front of a teacher. There was unfortunately an Ella in my year too but I was talking about:

very confusing at the time, my headteacher was perplexed with how to deal with it

Where from? I good bottled bbq sauce is hard to come by.

I usually get it in Sainsbury’s but Google informs me it’s also available in Tesco. That stuff is the richest, thickest, most addictive BBQ sauce you’ll ever try.

Been on the lookout for Riesens for years. I figured they didn’t exist anymore. This has restored my faith in the hunt

If you wouldn’t mind grabbing my pipe and slippers before all that, would be very much appreciated

wtf? Is Coles in the UK now?

Coles / Woolworths are the biggest, indistinguishable supermarket chains in Australia. Double Tesco.

Picture of you holding a tablet showing today’s google doodle then.

Too easy to fake in this day and age

I trust you.

What are the red ones ‘creepy cheeks’???

They were creepy chews that I bought a big bag of the day after Halloween for a bargain price. Unfortunately they’re too spooky for me.

Churros. An Iberian delicacy. Basically fried batter (like doughnuts) in strips covered in sugar and dipped in chocolate.

I keep buying these fruit sticks which are popular in the supermarkets over here:

We’re talking similar candy to those fake cigarettes that you could buy as kids - soft - but with distinct fruit flavours.

Anyway, I have bought 3 or 4 packets since we moved here and each time I think I’ll make it last a week and within about 2 hours I realise I’ve just eaten the whole lot.
