(sorry if that’s offensive!)

You’ve definitely got a bit of a West Midlands accent in that.

I think I got “dish” and “brown” close

I lost it as soon as I realised how shit it was going…began the recording in the honest belief I could pull it off.

That’s the end of my acting career

I was making a real effort to be loud and clear there, so it was more obvious than if I were talking in the pub, I think.
I remember when my younger niece came back from her first day at nursery. In a day, she’d gone from sounding fairly neutral to the full Julie Walters…

Haha, thanks so much Bam! Yours sounds pretty good too!

I think mine’s just novel because a lot of you will never have heard a South Tipperary/Cork accent before maybe?

you just sound like the most friendly inoffensive person ever. You had me at “haircut”!

Generic Southern accent with occasional Scottish flashes/phrases, people generally find my voice hard to pin down but have had from Hebrides to Australian thrown at me in the past. My voice is ok, I’m mostly just glad I don’t have a Norfolk accent

What is quite funny though is how I don’t really fit in anywhere given I indentify as more Scottish than English due to my mother’s side of the family and living here, lead to some funny defensive conversations in London of YOURE NOT SCOTTISH, YOU DONT SOUND IT or just being spotted a mile off up here because the weegie accent is so strong/ingrained

Oh they’ll do that! They’re lethal in this city for the drink. They also think people from my hometown are worse so I don’t know where that leaves me!
