Loved this album - still break it out every once in a while. Felt like it anticipated that kind of bleak post-punk revival of Preoccupations/Protomartyr a bit.

This is my favourite “genre” probably, the kind of bands that could be described as punk, post hardcore, noise rock, indie or various others without necessarily fitting perfectly into any of them. Idles and Fontaines DC are a couple of popular current bands that fit into this. Future of the Left are DiS favourites as are Metz. Trail of Dead, Fugazi, Jawbreaker, Titus Andronicus, Basement.
