We walked along the waterfront there last month and I was trying to figure out how the hell it was accessed. Took a ferry tout the islands and watched a continual stream of planes of all sizes skim across the bay.

Yeah, Gatwick being a 30ish minute train from the city I live in puts it way out in front as London airports go
Really enjoyed El Nido airport in the Philippines. Literally just one single-storey building and a bit of tarmac

I flew out of Beziers once, which I seem to remember was basically a cafe with some security gates attached. Great stuff.
