Alan Moore: Jerusalem

Got my copy yesterday, the hardback single-volume edition. 1,200 pages of over-written Northampton psychosis - can’t wait to get stuck in. Not overly impressed with the quality of the production, but I guess that’s not important. Anyone else reading it or planning to?

Was thinking of getting it. Some of the reviews, though generally positive, were a bit off-putting.

Might just re-read some 80s Swamp Thing.

Yes, eventually. I would be curious to hear updates as you read!

Moore’s discursive, overwriting tendencies are nice in small doses but the book seems intimidating more than intriguing.

Saw him sing it before the Rugby League final. Great set of lungs on him for such a young lass. Brought a tear to my eye.
