Billy Joel - the stranger
Chris rea - new light…
Paul Young’s greatest hits
Immaculate collection (another amendment here, it also had 12” mixes of holiday and lucky star on)
Bon jovi crossroad (mine but a staple nonetheless)
Human league greatest hits
REM - out of time
Buck’s Fizz greatest hits
Fleetwood mac - tango in the night

Gotta be loads more

Stainsby Girls man. Also Ace of hearts and I can hear your heart beat.

Aware that I may be fired from DiS for this.

Dad now plays an iPod nano with all his faves on plus dad staples on cd: faithless greatest hits, massive attack greatest hits, sash greatest hits, tom petty greatest hits.

Has anyone mentioned that live dire straits album, Madonna’s ray of light or Tina turners Private Dancer yet? They all had their moments for sure.

The ones I remember are tapes of Sgt Pepper, Captain Beaky, and Burl Ives.

Oh, Barclay James Harvest live in Berlin that was constant

Tango in the night was the only thing my dad had in the car. I listened to that non stop for years. Just seeing the cover art gives me ptsd

All I know of this album is it predicted the 11th September 2001 terrorist attacks on the Twin Towers.

I bought the Ride Like The Wind compilation to channel the spirit of all Dads while I drive.

I C O N I C.

I have a playlist of swearing free hip hop. My son has a playlist which only has songs that have appeared on Marvel films (and Incredible by General Levy, just to mix it up a bit). Kids seem have no issue listening to about 10 songs on repeat.

The only cassette my Dad has ever owned (Spotify says 1999, but it’s more like 1985 I think)

and his only record (circa 1972)
