We did both of ours (ooo! get us!) a couple of years back. There was a thread on the old boards where @Lo-Pan was doing up his shower, but I can’t find it. Maybe he can.

we did ours a while back. Plumber bloke talked us into having big beige tiles as they were neutral…‘hotel style’ Wish I had gone for the strong colour I wanted now.

We do have a shower with an electronic temp thing which is good though

My plan is to go for white metro tiles on 3 walls and then the other 2 walls (yeah I have 5 walls in my tiny bathroom) i’ll have them just plastered and painted white so when I get bored, BAM that wall is now neon pink or whatever.

What colour would you have gone for?

We’ve booked in our guy to do it whilst we’re on holiday so now we’re just starting to pick stuff out. I’ve got a bit of a small unusual space to work with so it’s a bit hard to find stuff and i’m not sure if i’m being too ambitious by wanting this.

We will be doing it after the lounge. I want to totally get rid of the bath and have a massive shower but plasticmike isn’t keen.

I couldn’t live without my bath. I love it too much. It’s also SO useful when you’ve pulled a muscle or hurt your back or something. I’ve just lived somewhere that had a shower only and although it was nice cause it was a fucking good shower, I just wanted a long bath quite a lot

Did a full refit of our old bathroom and en-suite before moving. ~£5k all-in, buying from Wickes and using their fitters. The suite was fine and the fitters did a decent job, but communications were a total fucking shambles. Would have been easier to go direct to an independent fitter and tell them what suite and tiles we wanted. Think the pics and deets I posted are in the @plasticniki kitchen saga thread.

I know!

We have beige as I was overruled by mrS and plumber, who I suspect had bought a crate load from Wickes. It looks ok just boring!!

I planned on going strong with the wall paint but haven’t been bothered yet, the ceiling was wooden sauna style so painting that over was arduous enough :smiley:
