I moved my bathroom from one part of the flat to another so I could open up more space for the kitchen. Meant I sacrificed having space for a bath but that really doesn’t bother me.
Fucking love my kitchen.:+1:
I’ve got some images somewhere, I’ll try and find em and post them.

We have an independent fitter who we trust so we’re ok with that. He’s just done the bathroom of someone we know and it’s really well done.
I just have a very tight space between my shower/bath and were the sink is. Means I have to try to find a sink/vanity unit under 600mm wide which is proving to be quite hard! I can’t find any I like.
I want this one but I think it’s going to be too wide! We need it like 550mm.

Shit, beaten to it

We had that when we bought our new place. Had to put a bath back in when we had a kid though.

^This is my thinking.

NOT THAT I AM HAVING A CHILD. But I think it would probably sell better/appeal to more people if we kept the bath.

It really really would.

They look great.

I have also been thinking about a lower bed to put in our loft. We have a kingsize one that we’ve had for ages and it takes up so much space. It has drawers underneath it though, which are very handy so it’s quite the conundrum. Also, can’t really low beds be tricky to get out of if you’re old? Might be tricky if my mum stays…

And I spend approx. 5 hours a week in the bath and £20 on bath bombs so…

Yeah, I’m also quite a fan of a bath. Considering getting a bath tray for my shaving mirror/cans of lager.

I want a nice wooden one for my ipad and tea. I need to up my bath game and bring in a prosecco but my prime bath time is post gym at 11am on a Saturday

Yeah. Even if you never use a bath, having one makes the house/flat more desirable, especially to people with kids.

Personally, if you’re going to be in the place for a long time, have it how you want to use it and worry about the re-sale when you come to sell it. I don’t like P-shaped baths, but that can be a compromise if you’re tight for space and want a bit more room in an overbath shower.

If you want to look for ideas for a small room, then the Ideal Concept Space range has some solutions.

Can you find that thread on the old forum?

I think I posted a few photos of our shower room in there, but I can’t find it now.

Been a while since I searched those. Let me see if I can’t track it down

I’ll set her something up in the spare room

Not quite furniture but bought some pastel pink plates to double up with the greys we’ve already got.

So cheap for such a lot of crockery too.

They compliment each other very nicely.

Been gradually getting bits for when I move out, just got some nice awful tableware from asda, of all places:

It looks better in the flesh because it is actually more of an off-white base, which I think makes the design look better. I do have some actual nice plates (Jersey Pottery ‘Sardine Run’ pattern), but these are more suitable for everyday use.

Going to do an ikea trip soon for some more bits. Have fallen for a lampshade, but I am not sure that is the kind of thing you should really get without knowing the space it is going to be going in…

Thanks Fl! Love that yellow and blue plate there, never thought to check Asda, got a massive one round the corner.

You’ve gotta show us this lampshade now chief :grinning:
