Represent.

The Catalans like an X, don’t they?

Looks like they like an A more though

Can’t stand the phonetic alphabet all alpha alpha army nonsense.

Much prefer the random ERM, f for frog?

when I handwrite x I write it the algebra way image

I’ve told this story on here before, but I have no better argument in favour of the phonetic alphabet than when I was taking down an elderly customer’s postcode and she said, after a brief pause in which she was clearly trying to think of a word, G for (blurred for racism) gollywog.

I also had a colleague who used to use both B for Bertie and G for Gertie. That’s not how phonetic alphabets work!

Why is this poll single choice only?

Why would you not make the sound of the letter when you pronounce out the letter?

i would like to do my 'a’s like that, but seems very fiddly doesn’t it? likewise seeing ‘ɑ’ on a computer screen makes me a little nɑuseous

maybe you’d have to start at the top and curl it downwards and around
