I think Richard Dawson is the ‘newest’ artist to make one of my top 5s. Love him.
Tight between Roxy and The Replacements for my coveted no 5 spot.

Wasn’t going to include Radiohead to be less obvious. But it’d be a lie.
Saw Redd Kross in 1997 when I was 14. Been a constant in my life ever since. Seeing them in October (was meant to be May, but rescheduled for obvious reasons).
Wow, Redd Kross - there’s a blast from the past!

Was tempted to include Redd Kross after revisiting Show world a few months ago, absolutely cracking album that, but only one of theirs I’m familiar with so plumped for The Ramones instead. Close call though.
I didn’t like Show World much, but I played Phaseshifter to death in 1993.

Phaseshifter is a great one to check out, if you enjoyed Show World. Neurotica a good one to go for as well. They’re an amazing live band - proper showmanship… Makes sense, as they’ve been at it since McDonald brothers were 18 and 14!

Double R and no Q would do. RTJ, RATM, Roots Manuva, Robert Plant, Royksopp, Rolling Stones…
Yes, Neurotica’s good too. I remember finding that second hand for a quid somewhere. It’s got a superb 80s cover
Cover of Third Eye was… interesting.
