I’ve got that Rollercoaster RHCP song in my head now so thanks. Thanks a lot.

I thought this was a meat up thread too! DiSappointed.

Hmm… Wicker Man themed rollercoaster? Holy shit the bed. sounds pretty coooooool to me!!

Additions they could consider (I haven’t read the whole of the article)

You are presented with a yellow roll neck that you must wear for the duration of the ride.
People dressed as animals prancing about.
You may only board the ride after you’ve done the sword ritual.
Music from the film played throughout.
Giant snails mating.
The only way you can get to the ride is by small aircraft, it is located on the summer isles.
You are presented with an abundant array of fruits when the ride is completed.
etc etc yadda yadda yadda.

AND BEES!

I hope it’s based on the seminal Nicholas Cage version.

Have you though?

NO BEES

I listen to a lot of Magic FM so am largely immunised against this

Best theme park day I ever had was when I went to Thorpe Park during term time on a weekday and it was raining. Place was pretty much empty. Went on Nemesis Inferno like 7 times, each time in the front carriage. Lost count how many times we did Stealth too, we just stayed in the cart and went again.

I’ve done this before. It’s great.

Never go at the weekend, never go in a school holiday, and never go without one of those 2for1 vouchers.

I’d end up going on Saw so many times in this scenario. Best rollercoaster.

Went to Alton Towers 2 years ago with @moousee after I’d had an operation on my foot, it was great.

Swapped my crutches for a wheelchair on arrival and was pushed around all day and were allowed to the front of the queue for everything.

Did make you realise just how small the place is as we’d pretty much been on everything by lunchtime. So went back and went on all the big rides again.
