Loved the bits in you were never really here where the violence is so muted, a little blip on the radar that just shows how numbed to the whole thing he really is. Really effecting film. Same with we need to talk about kevin really, the whole underlying tension becoming the real horror. It’s something all the best video games do too. But yeah dunno if 2 good films makes a 5/5 director.

I would say I appreciated We Need To Talk About Kevin. No real desire to watch it again though.
Don’t think I’ve even seen Ratcatcher so will need to get on that quicksticks.
