Aye, like Stephen said, it should get way more credit for it’s emotional core. I think the original run is absolutely perfect and self-contained and ended beautifully and they should have kept it that way. It’s a truly wonderful show.

I think that at it’s peak The Simpsons is a funnier show, I think Futurama is superior in every other way though.

The funniest episodes of The Simpsons are my favourite episodes of anything, but Futurama was fantastic and doesn’t have the baggage of 18 shit seasons.
