Cutlery facing down because when you’re emptying it you could poke yourself with knives sticking up

Even worse, if the stuff hasn’t been washed yet and it’s still dirty and facing upwards you could be filling the dishwasher and accidentally touch some cutlery that someone had their gob round

My wife has incredibly pale skin. This week she has had to switch from “Ivory” makeup to “Pale Porcelain” because Ivory was somehow too dark. I’m suggesting new shades for her to try, the likes of Startled Ghost and Overnight Snow. No reaction so far, work to do.

My partner has often stated the opinion that salads can’t be part of breakfast so if I get up before, I’ll grab some spinach leaves and walk around the house crunching them down and saying ‘What a marvellous hearty breakfast, possibly the best I’ve ever had’.

I just wear boxers to bed and my gf wears PJs sometimes she’ll say something about getting into her PJs and I’ll say something like ‘I’ve had mine on all day’

And just regularly refer to my boxers as PJs.

It has disadvantages for me personally because my bf is ginger and therefore meant to be pale but he has nice tanned olive skin…whereas I am just straight up pale but not ginger so my bf has always said that we’re both ginger. I’m not ginger!!!
It’s very effective in winding me up.
