Thinking of doing it as a few artists I really like are playing and haven’t done anything in Leeds for ages. What venues is it at/normally at? Is it normally rammed? Somewhat put off by the “vip access”.
Same night a venue said Frank Turner was at capacity and wouldnt let anyone else in, my mate demanded to see the manager and do a count of people and they let us in. Had to stand on the stairs
Yeah been a few times. Oporto always seems to be full so be warned if anyone you want to see is playing there. Larger venues sometimes have a queue to get in depending who’s playing, but I’ve generally not found it too bad.
I’ve been a few times and I’ve never had a bad time. I usually end up just staying in town rather than walking out to the Brudenell unless it’s a nice day as otherwise you can spend a lot of time walking or on buses and not actually seeing stuff.
Plan for the day. Only trip out of town is at the end of the night conveniently. Need to check in to the hotel at 3pm and get lunch but will try and see a band around 4
Got myself a Tickets For Good freebie (more or less) ticket for Live At Leeds In The Park on 24th May, thinking I’d be able to make it work. Turns out I can’t make it work.
Anyone want it free of charge?
Should caveat this by saying that the small print on the ticket states ‘ID may be required from the Account Holder upon entry to the event’ but pretty sure you’ll be alright because when do they ever check? Still just worth bearing in mind.
